Practical, performance-based handgun and carbine training for shooters and agencies that want more than a collection of drills. The goal is better execution, better diagnosis and a training process you can continue using after class ends.
Classes for shooters who already have a foundation and want to improve accuracy at speed, movement, execution and the quality of their practice.
The work is principles-based rather than built around one prescribed technique. You will experiment, learn what changes performance and build the ability to diagnose your own shooting.
Training and consulting for agencies that want to improve firearms instruction, develop their instructors and build a more useful way to evaluate shooting performance.
The goal isn’t to turn a police firearms program into a competition program. It’s to apply the parts of performance shooting that make sense to the job: clearer standards, better diagnosis and feedback that gives shooters something they can actually use.
The first two days cover the same performance-shooting concepts included in Performance on Demand: Speed. This establishes a common understanding of the skills before the focus shifts from performing them to teaching them.
Day three examines the instructor side of the equation: how to explain concepts clearly, demonstrate skills with purpose, observe shooter behavior, diagnose performance, provide useful feedback and help students experiment without simply prescribing technique.
The goal is to develop instructors who understand not only what they are teaching, but why they are teaching it and how to recognize whether it is working.

OPTIONAL DAY 4: CURRICULUM & PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT
An additional working day with agency staff to review the existing firearms program, identify gaps or opportunities for improvement and assist with curriculum updates. This can include course structure, skill development, evaluation, instructor methodology and integration of performance-shooting principles into the agency’s existing program.
Know what the skill requires and what useful performance actually looks like.
Work inside clear principles while testing technique, pressure, pace and execution for yourself.
Learn to read the result, identify the cause and make a useful correction without waiting for someone else to tell you what happened.
